WHAT IS RUNE?

Rune is your offline survival companion. Powered by advanced AI, it answers any crisis question—first aid, shelter, navigation, even morse code—without internet. It sits ready for years, unshaken by EMPs, moisture, or dirt.

HOW IT WORKS

  • ASSEMBLE

    Get intimate with your Rune. Put together Rune with simple tools. Assembly takes around 15 minutes.

  • USE

    Power on, push the speak button and ask anything. Get clear answers fast. Example: “How do I purify water?” → “Boil 1 minute or use iodine.”

  • POWER

    Rune is powered by three 2170 lithium ion cells. When Rune is off, it can last over 24 months.

OPEN SOURCE, USER SERVICEABLE AND UPGRADABLE

Run any local model of your choice on Rune. Rune comes preinstalled with a modified Mistral 7B, which is not censored. All source code is available on our Github.

EMP, WATER & DIRT RESISTANT

Our anodized aluminum enclosure surrounds the internals, acting as our Faraday Cage - enough to mitigate even high-altitude EMPs. The speaker/mic vents are protected with a staggered conductive mesh, attenuating any damaging fields. Behind is a robust water and dust resistant mesh to protect against the elements.
